Terms & Conditions
These are the rules for using the Sri Charan Constructions Site Activity Log app (the “App”), written in plain words. Please read them. By signing in you agree to them.
The short version
- Use the App only with your own PIN, and never share it.
- Enter true and accurate information. The company relies on it for payments and planning.
- Everything you do is recorded, including who, what and when.
- Do not try to get around permissions or upload harmful files.
- The company can change or switch off access at any time.
1. About these terms
These Terms & Conditions are the rules for using the Sri Charan Constructions Site Activity Log app (the “App”). By signing in you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the App, and tell your Administrator.
They go together with our Privacy Policy, which explains what information the App records.
2. Who may use the App
The App is a private working tool for the staff of Sri Charan Constructions: supervisors, the owner and administrators. An Administrator creates each account. Nobody can sign up on their own. You may use the App only for the company’s work.
3. Your PIN and your account
- Your PIN is your signature. Keep it secret. Do not share it or write it where others can see it.
- You are responsible for everything done with your PIN. If someone else uses it, the App records it as you.
- Do not use another person’s PIN, even if they offer it.
- If you think someone knows your PIN, tell an Administrator straight away so it can be changed.
4. What you can do in the App
Your role (Administrator, Owner or Supervisor) gives you a starting set of features. An Administrator can switch features on or off for you at any time, and must give a written reason. If a tab or button is missing, you have not been given it. Do not try to get around this.
5. Keeping records accurate
- Enter true and complete information, as soon as you can. The company uses these records for payments, bills and planning.
- Take clear photos of the right thing (the meter, the diesel slip).
- Read weights, readings and amounts from the real slip, bill or meter.
- The App does some sums for you (net weight, totals, working hours). They are a help, not a replacement for checking. Keep the original slips and bills until the records have been checked.
- If you find a mistake, ask for it to be corrected. Changes and deletions need a written reason, and they are recorded.
- Never enter false or misleading information.
6. Photos, files and documents
- Upload only files that belong to the company’s work, and only if you have the right to share them.
- Programs and scripts cannot be uploaded, and each file can be up to 25 MB.
- Site working progress pictures should show the work. Add them to the right entry, and only if you have the right to share them.
- Do not upload anything illegal, offensive or harmful, or other people’s personal information that has nothing to do with the work.
7. What you must not do
- Try to open another person’s account or see information you have not been given.
- Try to get around permissions or security, or test, scan or attack the App.
- Overload the App, or use automatic tools to collect its data.
- Copy or share the company’s records outside the company without permission.
- Use the App for anything other than the company’s work.
8. Everything is recorded
The App keeps an activity log: sign-ins, entries, changes and their reasons, deletions, exports, when documents and attached files are viewed, printed or downloaded, and changes to permissions. It also records the time, and the IP address and type of device used. The company may look at the log for security, to keep people accountable and to settle disagreements. Our Privacy Policy gives the details.
9. Who owns the records
The records, photos and documents entered in the App are business records of Sri Charan Constructions. When you enter something for the company, it belongs to the company. The Sri Charan Constructions name and logo also belong to the company. Please do not copy or reuse them without permission.
10. When the App may not be available
- The App needs an internet connection. Without one you can open the “offline” screen but cannot save or see records.
- It may be unavailable for a while because of maintenance, a hosting problem or a poor network.
- We try to keep it running and correct, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of mistakes.
11. Ending or limiting access
An Administrator can switch off an account, or remove features from it, at any time. For example when someone leaves the company, or when these terms are broken. Misuse may lead to action under the company’s rules and the law. You can stop using the App at any time by signing out.
12. Limits of responsibility
The App is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, the company and the people who built the App are not responsible for losses caused by wrong information that users enter, a lost internet connection, a break in service, or someone using your PIN because it was not kept safe. Nothing in these terms takes away any right that the law says cannot be taken away.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The “last updated” date at the top will change, and an Administrator will tell users about important changes. If you keep using the App after a change, you accept the updated terms.
14. Which law applies
These terms are governed by the laws of India.
