Sri Charan Constructions · Site Activity Log app · Last updated 26 October 2026

This policy explains, in plain words, what the Sri Charan Constructions Site Activity Log app (the “App”) records, why, who can see it and how it is protected. The App is a private working tool for our own staff. It is not a public service and has no advertising.

The short version

  • The App is for Sri Charan Constructions staff only. An Administrator gives each person an account.
  • It records site work, purchases, documents and payments, plus who did what and when.
  • There are no ads, no trackers and no selling of information.
  • Each person sees only what the Administrator has switched on for them.
  • To correct or delete something, ask your Administrator or contact us.

1. Who uses the App

Only people whom an Administrator at Sri Charan Constructions has given an account: site supervisors, the owner and administrators. Nobody can sign up on their own. The App is not meant for children and does not knowingly collect information from them.

2. What the App records

This is everything the App stores, and why.

AccountsYour name, your role, and your PIN. The PIN is stored only as a one-way scrambled value (a hash), so nobody, including administrators, can read it. We also keep which features an Administrator switched on or off for you, and who created, changed or removed an account, and when.
Site recordsWhat staff enter for each working day: date, site, vehicle or machine number, meter readings, working hours, diesel, loads (and where they were unloaded), operator name and remarks. Photos of meter readings and diesel slips are stored privately.
PurchasesMaterial that arrives at a site: date, site, supplier, vehicle number, item, load weight, empty weight and the net weight worked out from them, an optional attached file (such as a weighbridge slip or invoice), and who entered it.
DocumentsFiles that the owner or an administrator uploads (for example work orders and tax invoices) with the name, type, site and notes typed alongside them.
Progress picturesPictures of the work in progress that site staff attach to an entry (with an optional caption), together with the entry’s date, site and vehicle and who added them. They are stored privately, like reading photos, and shown only to people an Administrator has allowed to see them (by default the owner and administrators).
PaymentsWho the company pays (companies and outside rental providers), what for, the amount payable, the amount paid and the balance, and who entered each line.
RenewalsThe type of renewal (insurance, permit, subscription …), its date, description, amount, who paid, the documents you attach, and the reminders sent to the Owner and Admin.
Archived itemsWhen an administrator deletes a record, purchase, payment, renewal, document, picture, vehicle, operator or site, a copy is kept in a private Archive (with who deleted it, when and why) until the administrator deletes it permanently, which removes the copy and its stored files for good.
Activity logFor security and accountability: sign-ins (successful and failed), the actions people take (adding, changing, deleting, exporting), when a document or attached file is viewed, printed or downloaded, changes to permissions, the time, and the IP address and type of browser or device used. PINs and sign-in tokens are never written to the log.
On your deviceA temporary sign-in token kept in the browser’s session storage (it is cleared when you sign out or close the App), and the App’s own pages, images and fonts saved so it opens quickly and can show an “offline” screen. No business records are stored on the device.

3. What the App does not do

4. How the information is used

To run site operations: keeping daily records, working out totals and summaries, producing reports (Excel, PDF), keeping purchase and payment records, and keeping an audit trail of who did what. It is not used for advertising.

5. Who can see what

Each person’s role gives them a starting set of features. An Administrator can switch individual features on or off for a person, for example to let a supervisor see Records or to stop someone printing documents. Every such change is written to the activity log with the reason. By default:

6. Who else handles the information

The App is hosted on Render, and its database and file storage are provided by Supabase. They process the information on our behalf, only to run the App, and may keep it on servers outside India. We do not share it with anyone else, except where the law requires.

If you use the Android app, it opens this same App. It does not collect anything extra.

7. How it is protected

No system is perfect. If you think your PIN has been seen by someone else, tell an Administrator straight away so it can be changed.

8. How long it is kept, and deleting it

Records are kept for as long as Sri Charan Constructions needs them for its business and legal obligations. Administrators can delete users, entries, purchases, documents and payments. Activity-log entries are kept for audit and security. To ask for something to be corrected or deleted, contact us (see the last section).

9. Your choices

You can ask what is recorded about you, ask for corrections, or ask for your account to be switched off. You can stop using the App at any time by signing out and uninstalling it. Some records (for example payments already made) may have to be kept for legal or accounting reasons.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change how the App handles information we will update this page and its “last updated” date, and an Administrator will tell users about important changes.

11. Contact

Questions or requests about this policy:

Please contact the Administrator of your site, or write to Sri Charan Constructions.

Using the App also means following our Terms & Conditions, which set out the rules for staff.
